Little Girl

A girl with a shattered heart
still manages to smile
Still continues to play a part
A part in this cruel and  lonely world
A victim of abuse
Day after day she manages to keep going
Putting one foot in front of the other
Putting her trust into God
For he would one day take her pain away
Nightmares she cant escape from
Flashbacks they come and they go
Day after day she tries to get stronger
For one day she wanted to change lives
For one day she wanted to be the woman
Who would save the world and so many lives
A woman for now she is
A girl that survived and became the
woman she is today
A girl who survived and never gave up
No matter what was thrown her way
She put her trust in God All the way.

Silence Shh  quiet before you speak

Heaven forbid you raise your voice

 in the land of the free

You will be Judged,criticized 

maybe even mocked for being you
